Comments:
I believe it was 1967 or 1968. I just happened to be home on leave from the U.S. Army and attended Greg's funeral at White and Day Mortuary on Torrance Blvd. in Redondo Beach. I believe either Mr. Carne or Mr. Roy were in attendance. Greg was a Navy corpsman assigned to a Marine unit in Vietnam. Greg was killed in action. This can be confirmed. His name is on the Vietnam Memorial wall in Washington D.C. I have seen his name on the wall and taken a rubbing.
