d. October 10, 2018. Tom Box, loving husband, father, and grandad to 8 grands passed away at the age of 66. Tom was born on May 28, 1952 in Santa Monica, CA to Bill and Ann (Carrick) Box. On June 14, 1974 Tom married Janice Anne Scott. They moved to Seattle in 1980. Tom had a strong faith in Jesus Christ and was an active member of his church. Tom found joy working at Seattle Pacific University for over 33 years where his favorite position was as athletic director. Tom spent many hours at SPU sporting events, enjoyed boating, reading history, and his many friends. Tom was preceded in death by his brother, Jim, and father, Bill. He is survived by his mother, Ann, wife, Janice, sons, Scott and Brad, daughter, Amanda, his sister, Cathy (Sugar) Zahn and treasured grandchildren, nephews, and nieces. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
