Chosen as a Distinguished Graduate for RUHS Centennial Celebration posthumously in June, 2005. d. August 31, 1997. An avid golfer, was out on the links at Alondra Golf Course with friends on Sunday, Aug. 31, 1997, when he was stricken with a fatal heart attack just after 1 p.m. He had been married to his wife, Rosemary DeCamp, for more than 56 years when died died at the age of 86.
