Comments:
Pat Cunningham Maldonado, a good friend of Brenda?s over the years, shared that Brenda was indeed an amazing woman. Yes, she had been in a wheel chair for 35 years, as a quadriplegic and all emails were typed with a wand held between her teeth. From her chair, she raised her four children and embraced life and people with love and compassion. Brenda stated once that she was so grateful that her life had been spared in the automobile accident when their car landed on top of her because she loved raising her children. Her children admire and embrace the way their mom lived her life. Brenda went home June 26, 2004 while on a camping trip with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her family by her side, Brenda found freedom from her spent body at last. Her one desire was to attend a class reunion. She was set to come to the 45th, but a Higher Power needed her home.
