Phillip Eugene Herman, our high scoring basketball hero we loved to watch, passed on September 13, 2002. The father of four children, he loved teaching and was awarded many honors. In the 80's he found he had cancer, fought it and won...unfortunately, the cancer returned, without mercy and took his life. He was a true gentleman putting others needs before his own. He is missed by all.
