- 1988-2004 West Torrance High baseball coach
- Currently a scout of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim
- From the teams he has coached: over 60 players have played college baseball and 15 have become professional ball players;California Baseball Coaches Hall of Fame
- 2003 Coaches Association Hall of Fame
- Pepperdine University Hall of Fame
- El Camino College Hall of Fame
- 2000 Cal-Hi State Coach of the Year
