The academic and leadership opportunities Bob experienced at RUHS helped him to achieve his goal of attending the US Naval Academy, and becoming an officer in the Submarine Service of the United States Navy. Bob's submarine was lost at sea during its third voyage during World War II. Bob's family wishes to express their heart-felt gratitude for this very special recognition and honor.
