Memories

What a wonderful life I've experienced so far! Most of it has been spent in school, as a student, teacher, and administrator doing what I believe is most important — helping others. A career in higher education has suited me perfectly. I have been very fortunate to be able to help many people work with new ideas, to enjoy learning from them, and to still do so. RUHS was a great place to continue our education with a group of fine teachers, such as Adelia Dwight, Donald Green, Albert Karr, Edna Spaulding and P.C. Whitely. They assisted us in making the passage from our teens to adulthood in a splendid manner. Mr. Whitely introduced me to the world of business by providing me with the opportunity to work in the bookstore and cafeteria, which I always appreciated. A number of years after graduating RUHS, I was pleased to be teaching with Don Green and Albert Karr at El Camino College.
